I am a German photographer living and working between Munich and Mallorca.

I have travelled extensively with little more than a camera beside me, and somewhere along the way, photography became a way of understanding the world. I have always been fascinated by people — by their stories, their relationships, and the cultural traces that shape the way we live.

My work is rooted in observation and shaped by nostalgia, art and a sensitivity to the beauty of ordinary things. I work intuitively, allowing myself to be surprised by what unfolds.

I see a wedding as something to experience, not something to direct. I want to discover its own rhythm, its relationships, its intimacy — rather than impose an idea of what it should look like.

Long before I photographed weddings, I was drawn to documentary photography.

Today, this is still at the heart of how I work.
